Trường Lourdes Hill cách trung tâm thành phố Brisbane khoảng 5 cây số, nằm trên sông Brisbane, có thể ngắm cảnh thành phố và chung quanh.
Trường được thành lập từ năm 1916 bởi những nữ tu của dòng Good Samaritan và là một trường trung học công giáo nữ có cả nội trú. Tinh thần của trường là dựa vào tình thương của Good Samaritan và sự che chở của Mary dưới danh nghĩa của Our Lady hay là Lourdes, một sự ban phước lớn của nữ tu Good Samaritan là làm cân bằng tâm linh và việc làm.
Trường có những khoá học cao cấp với nền giáo dục hiện đại nhằm phát triển giáo dục về mọi phương diện. Với nhiều cách học khác nhau của mỗi cá nhân đều có thể thích ứng với chương trình của khoá học ở LHC và có thể chọn môn học dễ dàng hơn và đó là đường lối kích động, khuyến khích học sinh trong việc học.
Đặc điểm của trường
Học sinh của LHC có OP từ 1 tới 9, đạt mức trung bình.
Khóa học của LHC nhắm vào mục tiêu của mọi học sinh thuộc nhiều nguồn gốc khác nhau với năng lực và lợi ích cá nhân.
Trường có một trung tâm tran dồi học vấn mà ban giảng huấn là những người chuyên về cố vấn, văn chương, toán học và anh văn là sinh ngữ 2, trung tâm nhằm đáp ứng nhu cầu của học sinh, giúp việc học của họ đạt đến mức tối đa.
Những du học sinh thường sống trong khu nội trú.
Boarding at LHC
All international students at LHC are expected to be boarders. Students are provided with all meals, 24 hour supervision and additional tuition. The Boarding Community also provides girls with sporting, cultural and social activities which are of great value to all international students. Girls are housed in shared rooms in the Junior years and single rooms in the Senior years. Homestays are arranged for designated school holidays.
Lourdes Hill College Boarding Community provides international students with opportunities for interaction with native English speaking peers and to experience an Australian lifestyle. International students from the same country are also provided with the opportunity to interact in their own language, especially when they are confronted with the challenge of continually thinking in English at school.
Families will be required to supply items of linen, toiletries and clothing for boarding.
Location
Lourdes Hill College is located 5 km from the Brisbane CBD. The College is on the Brisbane River offering extensive views to the city and beyond.

Uniforms and Textbooks
Uniforms are required to be worn and are the responsibility of the parents. These can be purchased from the College Uniform Shop, with credit card facilities available.
Textbooks are provided by the College at no additional expense, provided they are returned in good condition.

Entrance to Queensland universities and TAFE Colleges….credit can be gained by completing certain programs whilst at school
